Is AI the Key to Earlier Liver Disease Detection?

Tuesday 9 Dec 2025 at 4:15-5PM CET

Can AI help us find liver disease before it’s too late?

Chronic liver disease is one of Europe’s most under-recognised public health challenges, yet most people aren’t diagnosed until advanced fibrosis has already developed. The LIVERAIM project, funded by the EU’s Innovative Health Initiative, is working to change that!

Join us in our 5th webinar in the series and hear from our panelists on their real world experiences of implementing AI supported screening tools for Liver Disease.

Key discussion points:

  1. How tools like AI and predictive analytics can enable smarter, more integrated approaches to detection and risk assessment, building on biomarker-based screening approaches
  2. What it takes to successfully embed AI into real-world clinical workflows, from primary care to specialist areas.
  3. The major barriers still standing in the way of integrating AI into screening pathways

Who should watch?

Primary care physicians and nurses, patients and their families, patient associations, patient advocates, primary healthcare professionals, nurses, dietitians, gastroenterologists, hepatologists, and anyone interested in learning more about chronic liver disease and how it is managed in primary care.
